Four titles decided as Saudi Camel Federation Cup closes in Taif
The sixth Saudi Camel Federation Cup concluded at Taif’s historic camel racetrack on October 5, 2026, with four final-day trophies awarded in the adult female and male categories.
UAE- and Qatari-owned entries won the open female and male titles respectively. Saudi- and UAE-owned entries took the corresponding general-category trophies. The governor of Taif attended the closing ceremony and presented the awards.
The final day featured 332 camels across 12 races over six kilometres, with eight races in the morning and four in the evening. The Saudi Camel Federation organized the competition, whose total prize pool exceeded SAR 10 million.
Across racing and beauty competitions combined, the edition attracted more than 3,900 camels belonging to over 1,000 owners from Saudi Arabia, other Gulf countries and the United States.
