Today, 25 December 2024, saw the launch of the First Forum for Training and Education in Mental Health and Addiction Treatment (Opportunities and Challenges), organized by Erada Complex for Mental Health in Riyadh, part of the Third Health Cluster in Riyadh, with a number of leaders and specialists in attendance, most notably Dr. Ahmed Al-Anzi, CEO of the Third Health Cluster in Riyadh, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahmari, the complex's executive director.

Goals of the Forum:

  • Developing healthcare practitioners' skills: strengthening professional competencies through innovative educational and training programs.
  • Reviewing opportunities and challenges: discussing mechanisms to improve the quality of training and educational programs at mental health and addiction treatment hospitals.
  • Finding future solutions: supporting training and education to raise efficiency among workers in this vital field.

Strong Attendance and Engagement:

More than 300 specialists took part in the forum, which featured interactive presentations and intensive discussions on the latest training methods in mental health and addiction treatment, with a focus on raising competency levels and improving the quality of care provided.
