Dumat Al-Jandal, 10 Shawwal 1446 AH / April 8, 2025 — The Al-Jouf Camel Auction, now in its second edition and held in Dumat Al-Jandal governorate, continues its activities amid strong attendance and engagement from visitors and participants across the Kingdom's regions.

The auction is seeing notable turnout from camel owners, investors and heritage and culture enthusiasts, with elite purebred camels on show, boosting the commercial activity tied to the sector.

The event includes a wide range of activities: camel sale and purchase deals, heritage pavilions, exhibitions of camel products and by-products, and participation from productive families showcasing handicrafts and traditional dishes. Folk performances, cultural and awareness activities, and dedicated children's entertainment programs round out the event, with seating and dining areas set up amid an enjoyable heritage atmosphere.

Engineer Samihan Al-Shammari, mayor of Dumat Al-Jandal governorate and the auction's chief executive, said the activities aim to strengthen ties among those interested in camels and support the commercial activity tied to them, affirming that the auction serves as a vital platform that helps showcase the region's cultural heritage.
