Details Events is committed to accurate, reliable content. When an error is found, or new information affects something we have published, we review and correct it as quickly as possible.

Our commitment to accuracy

We rely on official and trusted sources when preparing news, events, venues and organization listings. Even so, updates or changes may occur after publication that require the content to be amended.

When do we make a correction?

  • An error in the information or data.
  • An update issued by the organizer or owner.
  • A change to an event's date, venue or details.
  • Significant new information becoming available.
  • A language or technical error that affects understanding of the content.

How corrections are made

Once an error is verified, the published item is updated and the incorrect information amended. Where the change affects the substance of a news item or event, we may note that an update has been made.

Requesting a correction

Organizers, venue owners and readers can submit correction or update requests through the contact page, explaining what needs to change and attaching the official source where available.

Reviewing requests

The editorial team reviews and verifies every correction request before making any change, ensuring the accuracy of published information is maintained.
