The General Directorate of Civil Defense showcased a modern search-and-rescue drone as part of its participation in the Ministry of Interior's pavilion at General Aviation Show 2025, organized by the Saudi Aviation Club at Thumamah Airport in Riyadh.

The ministry's pavilion drew large crowds of visitors who learned about the drone's advanced capabilities, which include high-definition day and night cameras, in addition to two-way audio equipment that enables direct communication with those affected at emergency sites.

The drone can fly to an altitude of up to 20 kilometers and operate in various weather conditions, and can carry rescue equipment and medical supplies, helping to boost the efficiency of search-and-rescue operations and speed up response times in critical situations.

The technology reflects Civil Defense's commitment to deploying the latest aerial systems to support field operations and enhance its ability to handle accidents and disasters according to the highest safety and response standards.
