"Future Tech Pioneers" Exhibition Opens in Tabuk to Boost Innovation and Youth Entrepreneurship
Tabuk, December 3, 2025 — The first "Future Tech Pioneers" exhibition opened today at the Technical College for Boys in Tabuk, organized by the region's General Directorate of Technical and Vocational Training with support from the Trainees Fund and a number of entities supporting entrepreneurship, running for two days to support and empower young people in technical and entrepreneurial fields.
The exhibition aims to spread a culture of innovation and spark entrepreneurial spirit among male and female trainees by giving them a dedicated space to showcase their entrepreneurial projects and creative ideas, helping to increase entrepreneurial activity, encourage self-employment and create an environment that nurtures scalable, innovative ventures.
Eng. Ali bin Marzouq Al-Balawi, director general of the General Directorate of Technical and Vocational Training in Tabuk, said the exhibition is a vital platform for showcasing trainees' innovations and skills in technology and entrepreneurship, noting that it is part of the directorate's efforts to build an integrated educational and applied environment that helps hone talent and develop young people's technical and entrepreneurial capabilities.
Al-Balawi added that the exhibition gives participants an important opportunity to meet supporting entities and business-model developers, and to learn about available funding programmes for startups, as well as benefit from professional consultations and accompanying workshops that help turn ideas into workable, market-competitive business models.
The exhibition's booths showcased a diverse range of technical and innovative projects, including digital solutions, prototype apps and software, and products linked to modern technology, with trainees giving demonstrations of their project implementation stages and future development plans before a large audience of innovation and entrepreneurship enthusiasts. The exhibition helps strengthen the participation of Tabuk's young men and women in building a promising knowledge economy by supporting their entrepreneurial capabilities and enabling them to devise technical solutions that serve the community and keep pace with future developments.
