The Writers and Readers Festival in Taif, organised by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, has attracted 55 cultural organisations and local and international publishing houses, a presence that reflects the diversity of the book, reading and content industries and strengthens the integration of cultural work within the festival.

The "Al-Darb" zone hosts a notable line-up of academic, media and professional institutions and associations devoted to literature, reading, research, translation and publishing, alongside national initiatives that empower talent, develop content and support creative products, reflecting the breadth and variety of cultural partnerships.

The publishers' zone gives visitors the chance to browse the latest literary, research and scientific releases and to connect directly with publishers, writers and book industry professionals, strengthening the relationship between content creators and their readers and introducing new creative voices and experiences to the literary scene.

The participation of cultural organisations and publishers is a core element of the festival's identity, reflecting the development of the Kingdom's publishing environment, growing interest in books and reading, and support for the cultural content industry, in line with the commission's goals of building a sustainable and diverse cultural scene.
