Riyadh Hosts SIMEC AquaFish 2026 to Drive Innovation in Fisheries and Aquaculture
Riyadh, 26 to 28 January 2026
The Saudi International Fisheries Exhibition 2026 (SIMEC AquaFish) is taking place in Riyadh from 26 to 28 January at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the patronage of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the National Fisheries Development Programme, and supervised by the National Livestock and Fisheries Development Programme with the participation of the Saudi Aquaculture Society.
The exhibition is the first specialised event of its kind in the Kingdom to focus on fisheries and aquaculture alongside related marine activities and industries, reflecting growing attention to developing this vital sector and strengthening its role in food security and income diversification.
It aims to provide a platform that brings together key stakeholders and decision-makers in fisheries and aquaculture, and an ideal setting for business meetings, negotiations and agreements between importers and exporters of live, chilled and frozen seafood.
The exhibition serves as an active point of contact between the National Fisheries Development Programme and private-sector partners, offering a unique opportunity to build strategic partnerships with leading local and international companies, connect directly with industry experts and professionals, and learn about global best practice.
A dedicated innovation pavilion presents the latest products and advanced technologies in aquaculture and smart solutions for sustaining marine resources, helping raise production efficiency and the sector's competitiveness at home and abroad.
The exhibition forms part of national efforts to develop the fisheries sector, stimulate investment in it and enable it to contribute effectively to Vision 2030 targets.
