Educational and Interactive Events
The participation includes a number of interactive events and programs, most notably:
- A rose parade with the participation of students.
- Illumination of school facades and educational buildings to mark the occasion.
- An information corner for the General Directorate of Education throughout the forum.
- Participation of volunteer and scout teams in organizing events and welcoming visitors.
Developing National Sentiment and Cultural Awareness
Dr. Saeed Al Ghamdi, Director General of Education in Taif Governorate, said the directorate's participation aims to develop students' artistic and cultural taste and strengthen their bond with local heritage, as well as nurture national sentiment through engagement with events that highlight Taif's identity and rich history.
The Global Rose and Aromatic Plants Forum is a prominent event spotlighting Taif's agricultural products, led by the Taif rose, which is used in perfumes and aromatic products and is an important element of local tourism in the governorate.
