Civil Defense Showcases Early Warning and Safety Technologies at LEAP 2026
The General Directorate of Civil Defense is presenting a range of digital solutions and modern technologies used to strengthen public safety and protect lives and property at the Ministry of Interior pavilion at the LEAP 2026 conference and exhibition in Riyadh.
Visitors to the pavilion can learn about the National Early Warning Platform, which sends warning alerts to mobile phones when emergencies occur, accompanied by a distinctive alert tone designed to capture attention and enable people to respond quickly and take appropriate precautions.
Civil Defense is also showcasing its Salamah e-portal, which allows establishments to complete a number of safety services digitally, including issuing, renewing, amending and cancelling licenses, speeding up procedures and raising the efficiency of preventive services.
These solutions reflect a growing shift toward technology, digitalization and early warning in risk management and faster emergency response, as part of efforts to develop the Kingdom's safety ecosystem.
