Fuels and ship security shape Saudi Maritime Congress programme
The Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress 2026 programme brings fuel decisions, vessel protection and trade continuity into focus at Jeddah Superdome on 21–22 October, across a main stage and a specialist focus stage.
An announcement published by Seatrade Maritime on 5 October outlines five tracks: trade corridors, port competitiveness, energy transition, infrastructure investment and maritime security. More than 120 speakers and over 200 exhibiting companies are expected.
Fuel choices and cyber risk
DNV’s participation agenda lists three sessions. On 21 October, global trade infrastructure runs from 14:00–14:45, followed by shipping decarbonisation and competitiveness from 16:35–17:20, both on the main stage. On 22 October, the focus stage addresses cyber threats with physical consequences for vessels from 11:00–11:45, according to the announced programme.
This structure places commercial and technical decisions together, connecting operational efficiency with environmental transition and security. This is a preview of the programme, rather than a report of outcomes from sessions that have yet to take place.
