The 25th WPC Energy Congress ended in Riyadh on 15 October 2026 after a five-day edition hosted by Saudi Arabia during Energy Week in Riyadh.

The closing handover confirmed Kazakhstan as host of the 26th Congress. Astana will stage the next edition on 11–15 June 2028, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Participants in Riyadh represented 135 countries. Discussions addressed energy security, investment and innovation, ahead of the Congress’s first move to Central Asia.
