Algeria began participating in the Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah on November 8, 2026, as part of preparations for Hajj 1448 AH/2027. Algeria Press Service reported the announcement from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments.

Priorities include coordination with Saudi counterparts on accommodation, transport, catering and field services. Ministry Secretary-General Redouane Maache heads the delegation, which includes National Office of Hajj and Umrah Director-General Tahar Braik. The event runs through November 11.
