Riyadh's Translation Forum 2024 to Foster Global Knowledge Exchange and Grow the Translation Industry
The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission is preparing to launch the fourth edition of the Translation Forum 2024 in early November, a two-day event to be held at the Ministry of Education's headquarters in Riyadh. The forum aims to promote cultural and knowledge exchange within the local and international translation community, and to shed light on the translation industry and the challenges it faces regionally and globally.
The forum provides a platform for direct engagement between attendees and translation experts from around the world through a "Meet the Experts" program, alongside panel discussions and specialized workshops designed to sharpen translators' skills and share the latest research in the field.
An accompanying exhibition will also be held, allowing local and international specialized organizations to showcase the latest solutions in translation. A "Translation Tales" segment will give participants a window into the personal and professional experiences of translation pioneers.
Through this forum, the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission seeks to enhance the Kingdom's standing on the global cultural stage and equip the translation community with modern technical skills, helping to grow the translation industry and boost job opportunities and competitiveness in this vital field.
