The Saudi capital Riyadh hosts the Multilateral Industrial Policy Forum (MIPF) tomorrow, Wednesday, in a pioneering step to support international cooperation on sustainable industrial development. The two-day forum is organized by Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), under the theme "Industrial Policies for a Sustainable Future."

The forum will see notable attendance from royal highnesses, senior officials, ministers and chief executives of major industrial companies. Interactive panel discussions will explore leading solutions to the challenges facing industrial policy, including digital transformation and the shift toward a green economy. The forum is the first of its kind to be held outside UNIDO's headquarters in Vienna, reinforcing Saudi Arabia's position as a regional and global leader in industrial development. By hosting the event, the Kingdom aims to spur dialogue and strengthen partnerships among stakeholders, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a diversified and sustainable economy.
