The Jeddah International Motor Show has launched a comprehensive platform this year for fans of all types of car racing, drawing large numbers of visitors of various age groups and offering them a unique experience through simulator platforms and virtual reality tools that recreate the atmosphere of Formula racing and rallies, giving participants a chance to practice focus exercises and develop their driving skills in an interactive, safe way.

The event featured a notable appearance by professional racers, including Saudi driver Sultan Hamdi, who enjoys wide popularity in the motorsport community thanks to his strong track record. Hamdi has competed in several local and regional championships, most notably drift and hill-climb races, in addition to winning first place in the time-attack race at the Saudi Toyota Championship, as well as his recent first-place finishes in the G3 race and the autocross race in Riyadh.

Speaking about his career, Hamdi explained how his passion for motorsport began at an early age when he raced motorcycles before moving on to car racing, dedicating his time and effort to developing his skills and winning championships. He praised the significant role played by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation in supporting amateur and professional racers, calling it a promising step for the future of motorsport in the Kingdom. He also stressed the importance of practicing the sport in designated, safety-assured venues, encouraging young people to train in safe, well-equipped environments.
