The Wadi Al-Salaf Festival, organized by the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority in the Hail region, has drawn strong visitor turnout since it began and continues through November 16. The festival offers a diverse lineup of events aimed at providing visitors with a well-rounded experience combining entertainment, education and raising environmental awareness, alongside support for handicrafts and local families.

The festival's activities have proven popular with visitors, including a traditional tent showcasing the region's heritage, a "market of the ancestors" featuring traditional products, and a handicrafts area where artisans can display their creations. Other activities include championship challenges, an archery experience, and a children's tent offering entertainment and educational activities for kids, alongside folk arts showcasing local folklore.

Through such events, the Authority aims to achieve several goals, including boosting eco-tourism in the region, raising public awareness of the importance of environmental protection, and developing vegetation cover while preserving wildlife. The festival also supports the local economy by giving craftspeople and local families the opportunity to sell their products, helping boost local income.

The festival's activities also include "Al-Rakayeb," which lets visitors enjoy camel rides, and "Plant It," which encourages visitors to plant vegetation, alongside hiking, which gives adventure enthusiasts the chance to discover the natural beauty of the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve.
