The Asir region has launched its biggest annual event, Asir Summer Season 2023, under the slogan "Cool and Rainy in Summer." The two-month season includes a wide range of tourism events.

The season aims to attract citizens, residents and international tourists to enjoy Asir's rich heritage and stunning nature, and to highlight the Kingdom as a global tourist destination.

Both the public and private sectors are taking part in the season to showcase the region and its unique tourism features, offering entertainment programs for all segments of society, including sports, cultural, artistic, heritage and leisure events. The events begin on June 30 and run until September 1, 2023.

Asir is one of the Kingdom's most beautiful regions in terms of nature and climate.
It hosts the largest tourism season, spanning more than 15 cultural, entertainment, historical and social zones suitable for all ages.

Prince Turki bin Talal, Governor of the Asir Region and Chairman of the Asir Development Authority, confirmed that all arrangements had been completed to deliver an exceptional tourism and entertainment event for the public. He said the season opens opportunities for small and medium-sized private-sector companies to take part, activating more than 15 diverse tourism and entertainment destinations and providing more than 700 seasonal jobs, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the comprehensive development the Kingdom is witnessing in all areas of life.
