Royal Commission Beach Opens in Jazan in Boost for Tourism and Development
Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Jazan region, sponsored the opening of the Royal Commission beach in Jazan City for Basic and Downstream Industries, in a special ceremony attended by Eng. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Salem, President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, alongside senior officials and figures interested in tourism and economic development.
Beach Features and Amenities
The beach stretches across a wide area reflecting the natural beauty of the coastline and the heritage of the Jazan region, with a modern design offering visitors a complete experience. The project includes multiple facilities, such as dedicated swimming areas, walking and strolling paths, sports and entertainment activities, a variety of cafes and restaurants, and cultural and entertainment programs blending local and international character.
The project also aims to bring about a step change in boosting tourism in the region and attracting visitors from across the Kingdom and abroad, strengthening Jazan's standing as a leading tourism destination.
Engaging Accompanying Activities
The festival accompanying the opening includes numerous activities, such as interactive theatrical and artistic performances, live concerts, jet-ski shows and sporting activities, and a stunning drone show that dazzled the crowd with artistic formations lighting up the Jazan sky.
