Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Jazan Region and chairman of the supervisory committee of the Strategic Office for the Development of the Region, this evening visited the venue of the events accompanying the 2025 Saudi International Coffee Exhibition, held in Al-Dayer Bani Malik governorate and organized by the Strategic Office for the Development of the Region.

A Comprehensive Tour of Events and Pavilions

During his tour, the prince viewed the pavilions of government bodies, cooperative associations, and participating companies, as well as corners for coffee farmers from Jazan and Asir, home-based businesses, and exhibitions for craftspeople, rural farms, and tourism trails. He also received a detailed briefing on the activities highlighting coffee cultivation, production, and quality, and its role in supporting the local economy and rural tourism.

Emphasis on Supporting Coffee Farming and Its Global Standing

The Jazan deputy governor praised the strong support the region receives from the leadership across various fields, commending the efforts of the region's governor in following up on development projects, and stressed the importance of boosting coffee farming in the mountainous governorates, in cooperation with the Saudi Coffee Company, the Jazan Mountainous Regions Development Authority, and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture branch, and other relevant bodies. He also stressed the need to continue holding the exhibition annually to promote the standing of Saudi coffee globally.
