Madinah, 27 Ramadan 1446 AH (27 March 2025)

The General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has completed its preparations to receive the large numbers of worshippers and visitors expected for the Qur'an-completion night at the Prophet's Mosque, scheduled for tomorrow, Friday.

An integrated field plan was carried out in cooperation with security authorities to ensure smooth crowd movement and allow worshippers to perform their devotions calmly and comfortably, alongside doubled efforts in operations, cleaning and sanitation services, the provision of Zamzam water, facility maintenance and measures against negative practices.

At a Glance

  • Sanitation: The mosque cleaned and sanitized 5 times a day.
  • Fumigation: The mosque fumigated 4 times a day.
  • Carpets: 27,000 new prayer rugs provided.
  • Cleaning fleet: 161 cleaning vehicles deployed to wash floors.
  • Restrooms: New restrooms prepared in the western courtyards.
  • Systems: Sound, lighting, air-conditioning and ventilation systems upgraded.
  • Crowd flow: Movement routes organized and worshippers safely grouped in cooperation with volunteer teams.

This comes as part of the Authority's commitment to providing the highest level of services to the guests of the Most Merciful, ensuring a comfortable spiritual environment during one of the greatest blessed nights of Ramadan.
