Riyadh, April 7, 2025 (9 Shawwal 1446 AH) — The cities of Khobar and Jeddah are preparing to host "Your Passport to the World," an event organized by the General Entertainment Authority targeting communities residing in the Kingdom, particularly from Sudan, India, the Philippines, and Bangladesh. The event aims to strengthen cultural connection, allowing expatriates to reconnect with their roots while introducing visitors to diverse cultures through artistic performances, culinary experiences, traditional crafts, and interactive workshops.

The event launches first in Khobar, with four days dedicated to each community throughout April: starting with the Sudanese community from April 9-12, followed by the Indian community from April 16-19, then the Filipino community from April 23-26, concluding with the Bangladeshi pavilion from April 30 to May 3. The event then moves to Jeddah to complete the program.

"Your Passport to the World" offers a comprehensive experience reflected through a unified visual design and an artistic identity inspired by folk patterns, textile motifs, and each country's natural and architectural elements. The event features dedicated zones for each pavilion showcasing cultural components, including traditional clothing and accessories, dance performances, diverse cuisines, and handicrafts, alongside open-air markets, stages, and interactive installations.

The event is part of the General Entertainment Authority's efforts to promote cultural diversity, build bridges between residents and visitors, and create a comprehensive, enjoyable, and educational experience for the whole family, spotlighting cultural heritage through arts and cuisine. The event is expected to draw wide public turnout, given its festive character and vibrant experiences reflecting deep-rooted traditions, in line with the goals of Vision 2030 to enhance entertainment and quality of life for residents of the Kingdom.
