Riyadh is preparing to host one of the world's largest entertainment events, Riyadh Season, which takes place every year during the winter.

Riyadh Season was first launched in 2019 and drew thousands of visitors from around the world to take part in concerts, sporting events, dining experiences and cultural activities.

The General Entertainment Authority has officially announced the date of the fourth edition of Riyadh Season in 2023, which will offer a host of events, fun activities and surprises.

Riyadh Season 2023 will open on Saturday, October 28, with a spectacular opening ceremony and a historic boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou.

Following the announcement of the season's start date and the opening-night fight, combat sports fans are eagerly awaiting this historic event, with the world's eyes set to turn to the Saudi capital on that day.

The fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will be held under standard boxing rules in Riyadh, with the two champions meeting in an epic 10-round contest in the capital.
