The General Directorate of Narcotics Control launched today the first forum on artificial intelligence and its role in combating narcotics, attended by Maj. Gen. Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Ammari, deputy director-general of narcotics control, at Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Academy for Narcotics Control in Riyadh.

Artificial Intelligence in the Fight Against Drugs

The forum highlighted the smart technologies and digital innovations used in:

  • Supporting field monitoring and surveillance operations.
  • Improving preventive security decision-making mechanisms.
