Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture has announced the launch of the fifth edition of the "National Cultural Awards," which honor outstanding achievements across various fields of cultural creativity, confirming that submissions and nominations will open soon through its official online platform: https://www.moc.gov.sa/Modules/Pages/Cultural-Awards.

The National Cultural Awards are one of the Ministry's flagship initiatives reflecting its commitment to motivating creatives and cultural figures and boosting their contributions to Saudi Vision 2030's cultural goals. The awards span 16 categories covering various sectors, with two new prizes added this year: the Handicrafts Award, coinciding with the "Year of Handicrafts 2025," and the Cultural Media Award, honoring influential work in covering and documenting Saudi Arabia's cultural movement.

The awards span both individual and institutional recognition, including the Cultural Personality of the Year Award, the Youth Award, the International Cultural Excellence Award, and the Institutions Award, and the Businesswomen and Businessmen Award, in addition to 11 sector-specific awards covering literature, film, music, visual arts, theater, culinary arts, fashion, translation, publishing, architecture and design, and national heritage.

The awards aim to spotlight inspiring cultural experiences, empower talented Saudi creatives with material and moral support, and provide a professional platform to showcase Saudi cultural output on both the local and international stage.
