Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission Wins Institutional Excellence Award with Top Global "Integrated" Rating
Riyadh, 25 June 2025 (29 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446H). The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission has been awarded the Institutional Excellence Award after receiving an "Integrated" rating, the highest classification given by the global KPI Institute through its GPA (Governance, Performance, Audit) Unit, reinforcing the Commission's standing as a cultural institution that embraces best governance and measurement practices.
The achievement reflects the Commission's institutional maturity in performance measurement. The evaluation covered six main areas: selecting strategic performance indicators, documenting them, setting targets, data-collection mechanisms, reporting, and institutional governance systems. The assessment was carried out through document reviews, questionnaires and interviews with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the results.
The GPA Unit confirmed that the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission demonstrates strategic clarity in setting priorities and effectiveness in measuring and tracking them, turning institutional performance into a leadership tool that supports excellence in the public sector, according to Theodora Gorski, Head of Strategic Partnerships at the GPA Unit.
The award affirms the Commission's commitment to raising institutional performance efficiency and applying global standards, as part of its efforts to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 targets and strengthen sustainability across the literature, publishing and translation ecosystem locally and internationally.
