Dammam, Saudi Arabia – July 7, 2025 (12 Muharram 1447 AH)

The Dammam Society of Culture and Arts announced the close of submissions for the sixth edition of its group art exhibition "Endless Possibilities of Art," dedicated to small-scale artworks in a uniform 30x30cm format, with 705 works submitted by 235 artists representing 25 Saudi cities.

The exhibition aims to promote a culture of art collecting and present art as an everyday practice accessible to the public, through interactive display spaces that allow visitors to engage with each work through a deeper visual sensibility, with a focus on integrating art and collecting within a sustainable cultural system.

Art in Small Formats, But with Wide-Reaching Impact

Yousef Al-Harbi, the society's director, said the exhibition focuses on:

  • Encouraging the public to acquire small artworks at accessible prices
  • Promoting the concept of beauty as a cultural and economic value
  • Developing visual taste through a diversity of styles and art schools
  • Achieving deeper visual interaction between artist and viewer

He added that the exhibition serves as a platform for works belonging to multiple art schools, from realism to abstraction, reflecting the Kingdom's rich cultural and geographic diversity, and paving the way for a visual renaissance grounded in a conscious appreciation of art.

An Exhibition Reshaping the Relationship Between Art and the Public

Through this initiative, the society seeks to achieve sustainability in the Saudi visual-art scene, by:

  • Simplifying the concept of art collecting for the public
  • Encouraging artists to create within a unified format
  • Opening the door for art lovers to discover distinctive works in different styles

The accepted works will be announced on July 17, 2025, ahead of the public opening, which is expected to see strong turnout reflecting the community's growing visual culture.
