ABHA, 19 August 2025 — The Asir Photographic Club, in cooperation with the House of Culture in Ahad Rafidah governorate, celebrated World Photography Day under the theme "My Favorite Photo," with a large turnout of professional and amateur photographers as well as photography enthusiasts.

The event's program ranged from an introductory tour of the House of Culture's facilities to a "Photographers' Salon" that hosted prominent artistic figures to discuss the impact of the image in the media and its role in documenting moments and reinforcing visual messaging. A "Photography Café" also offered a space for dialogue, exchanging experience and building networks between young and veteran photographers.

The evening featured a digital exhibition in which participants showcased their finest artistic shots, reflecting their aesthetic vision and creative experience, alongside a segment honoring a number of creatives in recognition of their contributions to developing the art of photography in the region.

Organizers affirmed that the event was held to highlight the role of the photograph as an influential cultural and media tool, and to give photographers a platform to display their work, boosting the presence of photography in Asir's cultural scene.
