Riyadh – 11 Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to September 3, 2025. The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language is organizing the Fourth Coordination Forum for Saudi Institutions Concerned with the Arabic Language in the capital Riyadh, with wide participation from government, private, and non-profit institutions, alongside a select group of academics, experts, and those interested in Arabic-language affairs.

The forum runs over two days: the first day is held at the Crowne Plaza Digital City hotel, while the second day takes place at the Academy's headquarters in Riyadh.

Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, Secretary-General of the Academy, explained that the forum represents a strategic milestone in the joint work between Saudi language institutions, as it opens avenues for cooperation and the exchange of experience and expertise in teaching and promoting Arabic, which enhances the quality of national programs and initiatives and increases the integration of roles among various entities.

The forum is held annually as a platform for dialogue and coordination among institutions concerned with the Arabic language, and aims to:

  • Strengthen the presence of the Arabic language locally and internationally.
  • Cement the Academy's scientific and linguistic reference standing.
  • Support language planning and the development of policies for teaching and promoting Arabic.
  • Brief participating institutions on the Academy's vision, strategies, and future projects.

The forum is accompanied by a specialized exhibition introducing national language initiatives and projects, and strengthening opportunities for communication and interaction among institutions, contributing to building sustainable partnerships and drawing on expertise to shape future programs.

The forum is part of the Academy's efforts to build an integrated national system for language cooperation, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in strengthening national identity and supporting the Human Capability Development Program in the fields of education, culture, and knowledge.
