To mark Saudi Arabia's 95th National Day, the Literature Society, through its ambassadors in Al-Baha province, launched a package of cultural programs and literary evenings under this year's national identity slogan, "Our Pride Is Our Nature." The events, held at a number of cultural venues across the province, drew varied attendance from writers, intellectuals and young people, amid a national atmosphere reflecting pride and belonging.

The programs included literary seminars and intellectual lectures reviewing the journey of unification and nation-building laid by the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, may God have mercy on him, through the stages of development and major transformations the Kingdom has experienced across various sectors, up to the strategic achievements under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect them.

The program also included poetry evenings and critical readings exploring the role of literature in cementing national identity and strengthening values of loyalty and belonging, in addition to activities aimed at children and young people to encourage literary creativity and express love of the nation in innovative ways.

Participants said these cultural evenings offer an opportunity to highlight the role of literature in serving the community and strengthening Al-Baha's standing as a cultural hub that enriches the national scene.
