The Sustainable Rural Agricultural Development Program "Reef Saudi" is taking part as silver sponsor in the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition 2025, held from October 20 to 23 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, with 438 participants from 35 countries representing the agriculture, food security and modern agricultural technology sectors.
The participation is part of the program's efforts to support the development of rural agricultural communities and empower farmers and rural food producers across the Kingdom's regions, by showcasing its initiatives and quality programs that contribute to sustainable development and raise the efficiency of local agricultural production, supporting national food security in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The "Reef Saudi" pavilion gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the products of rural Saudi Arabia and the success stories of farmers in sectors supported by the program, such as coffee, honey, fruit, roses, rain-fed crops, fisheries and livestock, alongside rural processing industries that help raise incomes and improve quality of life in rural areas.
Majed Al-Buraikan, official spokesperson for the "Reef Saudi" sustainable rural development program, said the program's participation in the exhibition builds on its pivotal role in supporting rural development and highlighting the achievements made in empowering smallholder farmers and supporting local production. He noted that the participation offers an opportunity to exchange expertise with local and international entities and showcase the program's successes in raising production efficiency and improving the quality of rural agricultural products, alongside informing target groups about available support and financing opportunities.
"Reef Saudi" is one of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's programs aimed at strengthening agricultural sustainability by supporting rural production sectors and empowering rural families and farmers, reinforcing the Kingdom's position as a leading destination in sustainable agriculture and global food security.
