The Saudi Water Innovation Center was established as part of efforts to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in water technology. The center aims to build an integrated entrepreneurial system focused on the infrastructure needed to support the development of startups and small and medium enterprises in this vital sector.
The project is part of the Kingdom's ambitious vision of economic diversification and environmental sustainability, in which innovation in water technology plays a central role in addressing water scarcity and managing resources efficiently. The center motivates entrepreneurs and innovators through advanced training programs and specialized workshops, along with technical and advisory support that enables them to turn their ideas into successful, sustainable projects.
The center also seeks to build strategic partnerships with academic and research institutions and companies specializing in water technology at the local and international levels, to exchange expertise and knowledge and develop innovative solutions and advanced technology. Through these efforts the center strengthens national capacity to lead the global innovation scene in the water sector and supports the Kingdom's sustainable development goals.
