Al Khabra Governorate in Al-Qassim region hosted the Al Khabra & Riyadh Al Khabra Dates Festival 2026 from 1 August to 15 September at Jadat Al Khabra, continuing its role as one of the Kingdom's most prominent seasonal markets dedicated to dates.
Running for 46 days, the festival combined trade with community activities, offering an integrated platform for presenting and marketing the finest dates and agricultural produce and drawing farmers, traders and buyers from across the Kingdom in a modern, well-organized setting that supports the region's economy.
This year's edition placed particular emphasis on empowering national talent, involving young men and women in organizing and managing the festival to build their practical skills and increase their participation in economic events. Volunteers were able to log their hours through the National Volunteering Platform, supporting institutional volunteering in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Organizers stressed that community participation is central to the event's success, with organizing teams and volunteers delivering a complete experience for visitors and traders and reflecting the festival's standing as one of the most important seasonal dates markets in Al-Qassim.
The festival reinforces Al-Qassim's position as one of the Kingdom's leading date-producing regions by supporting farmers, stimulating trade, highlighting the governorate's agricultural and tourism identity, and connecting producers, investors and consumers.
