The Islamic University of Madinah organised the 14th Cultures and Peoples Festival on its campus from 29 March to 6 April 2026, within the Madinah Winter season programme, with pavilions representing more than 90 countries presented by the university's students of many nationalities.
The festival offered more than 400 cultural and artistic activities, folk shows, family and children's spaces and a Saudi pavilion; Malaysia's Minister of Religious Affairs visited on 31 March 2026, and it closed with a ceremony honouring the participating pavilions.
