The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran launches the new edition of the Little Ones Festival 2026 from 6 to 25 July 2026, offering more than 73 cultural, educational and entertainment events for children and families in a summer program that blends learning, creativity and interactive experiences.
The festival nurtures children's passion for discovery and knowledge through a varied set of workshops, activities and performances held across Ithra's facilities, including the Children's Oasis, the Children's Museum, the Ithra Tower, the Energy Exhibit, the Plaza, the Library, the Theater and the outdoor spaces.
This year's edition revolves around the concept of "Home" as a space of belonging and identity, with children taking part in hands-on experiences exploring the design and diversity of homes, along with creative workshops such as "A Home in My Imagination" and "Kinusaiga Art", which encourage children and their families to express themselves artistically and strengthen family bonds.
The program also includes cultural activities in the Children's Museum through the "Around the Table" experience, which introduces participants to the customs and cultures of different peoples, and the "On This Carpet" workshop, which presents stories inspired by different environments around the world, along with a zone dedicated to water games and challenges that adds a recreational touch suited to the summer.
The festival hosts a number of writers and specialists in children's literature and childhood development, through sessions and activities aimed at fostering creativity, developing thinking and instilling the values of cooperation and belonging, in an integrated experience combining education and entertainment for the whole family.
