Madinah is preparing to welcome the Madinah Dates Season 2026 from 20 July to 2 August 2026 at the Central Dates Market, under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Madinah Region, with wide participation from farmers, producers, entrepreneurs and bodies working in the dates sector.
This year's season is held under the theme "From the Blessed Land to the World", as part of efforts to strengthen the standing of Madinah dates in local and global markets and support the agricultural sector as one of the promising sectors under Saudi Vision 2030.
The season combines agricultural heritage with economic innovation, offering an integrated platform for the finest date varieties along with the latest agricultural technology and date-based processing industries, raising product quality and competitiveness in global markets.
The season features the "Khairat Al Madinah" zone with 28 pavilions dedicated to displaying and marketing dates, their products and related food industries, along with the participation of productive families and local businesses, strengthening marketing and investment opportunities in the sector.
The season also holds a daily dates auction starting at 6:00 pm, bringing farmers, traders and enthusiasts together to trade the various date varieties, supporting commercial activity and raising the efficiency of agricultural marketing.
The event aims to empower entrepreneurs and young people working in agriculture and food innovation and open new horizons for investment and export, while introducing the history of palm cultivation in Madinah and promoting agricultural and cultural tourism through an experience that combines knowledge, shopping and entertainment.
The Madinah Dates Season continues to cement its standing as one of the Kingdom's leading agricultural seasons, reflecting the quality of the national product and strengthening the presence of Saudi dates in regional and international markets.
