Riyadh, December 2, 2025 — The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission is holding the fifth edition of the Riyadh International Philosophy Conference 2025 from December 4 to 6, this year under the title "Philosophy Between East and West: Concepts, Origins and Mutual Influences," continuing the conference's role as a global intellectual platform bringing together leading philosophers, thinkers and experts from around the world.

This year's edition focuses on exploring the historical roots of Eastern and Western philosophies and tracing their development across the ages, while highlighting the mutual influences between different schools of thought. The conference also examines contemporary philosophical perspectives that promote cultural dialogue and deepen understanding of relations between civilizations.

The agenda includes keynote sessions featuring international academics and researchers, alongside applied workshops and specialized panel discussions, and interactive tracks aimed at spreading philosophical thinking among different groups. The programme includes "Philosophers of Tomorrow," designed for children to develop critical-thinking and reflection skills; "Philosophy 101," which introduces basic concepts to the general public; and intellectual and artistic initiatives such as "Philosophy Around the World," "Mirrors of the Self" and "Journey of an Idea."
