The "Hirfah" (Craft) corner, one of the most prominent features of the "This Is Jazan" zone on the waterfront, has become an interactive tourism destination drawing families, children and visitors to Jazan Festival 2026, offering a rich experience that combines fun and knowledge and embodies Jazan's craft heritage with a modern touch that reflects the authenticity of the place and the depth of its cultural identity.

The corner has seen strong turnout from visitors eager to learn about traditional handicrafts such as henna, drawing, pottery-making and craft design, with these activities helping showcase the beauty of folk crafts and bring details of the past to life in a contemporary tourism format, drawing particularly strong engagement from girls and women.

A number of visitors to the corner said "Hirfah" has succeeded in offering an appealing tourism model that blends entertainment and culture, helping strengthen the presence of traditional crafts as one of the festival's tourism and cultural assets, through an interactive setting that enriches the visitor experience and deepens their connection to Jazan's local identity and authentic heritage.

The "Hirfah" corner is part of the "This Is Jazan" zone's system of 16 corners representing the region's governorates, embodying cultural diversity and heritage richness, helping enhance quality of life and affirming Jazan's standing as a tourism and cultural destination celebrating its human and heritage treasures year-round.

Jazan Festival 2026 opened on the 25th of this month with a carnival featuring performances, folk tableaux and artistic installations from across the region's governorates, expressing each governorate's urban, heritage and cultural identity, in a celebratory scene reflecting the region's diversity and cultural richness.
