The "Literature and Coffee" event opened today at the Culture House in Jazan, an interactive cultural experience that brings together literature and coffee culture and offers visitors a rich programme inspired by the deep relationship between the written word and the social customs rooted in Saudi society.

Running from 22 to 24 January, the event features poetry evenings, literary dialogues and interactive experiences reflecting the variety of coffee preparation methods and their cultural meanings, along with performances and workshops for adults and children. Its halls host literary sessions, musical performances, street theatre, exhibitions of vintage coffee tools and contemporary visual art.

"Literature and Coffee" aims to energise the region's cultural and literary scene and present culture in an open, interactive format that links heritage with innovation, giving visitors a journey from storytelling to the details of daily life while strengthening coffee's place as an authentic cultural symbol in local consciousness.
