About Jazan

Jazan Region lies in the far south-west of the Kingdom on the Red Sea coast, with Jazan city as its capital. It combines a long coastline and the Farasan archipelago of more than 80 islands, the agricultural Tihama plain, and the Fifa, Al-Qahar and Al-Dayer mountains rising above 2,000 metres and famed for Khawlani coffee and honey. This diversity shapes a year-round calendar: the Jazan winter festival on the waterfront from December to February, the Jazan Honey Exhibition in Al-Aydabi, the Khawlani Coffee Festival in Al-Dayer in January, Hareed Nights in Farasan in April and the mango harvest in Sabya in May. Major events are spread across Prince Sultan Cultural Center and the Ship Theatre on the northern corniche, the Culture House, Jeddanah Beach and Marjan Island, and the corniche hotels equipped with conference halls.
