Specialized workshops in ceramics and hand-shaping have opened in Jazan, organized by the Jazan Culture House in partnership with the Hiraf club, as part of cultural and artistic programs designed to develop creative skills and strengthen the presence of artistic crafts in the community.

The initiative is part of the cultural and artistic activity the region is witnessing, supporting the applied arts and connecting new generations with handicrafts of cultural and human significance.

Training Programs Combining Skill and Creativity

The workshops include a series of specialized training programs on the basics of ceramics, wheel throwing and drying and finishing techniques, along with direct practical applications that let participants produce ceramic work under specialized artistic supervision.

Participants go through a complete experience from shaping the pieces to preparing them for firing and collection, strengthening their practical and technical skills.

Reviving Handicrafts in a Contemporary Spirit

The workshops aim to reintroduce handicrafts as a space for aesthetic expression and modern creativity while preserving their connection to cultural identity and the traditional arts.
