Jazan University has launched the Jazan Future Skills Center during its participation in LEAP 2026, in partnership with Atom Camp and under the patronage of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, a step aimed at strengthening the presence of modern technology in the region and preparing national talent for the next phase of digital transformation.

The center will operate as a regional platform for developing specialized talent and skills, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and digital innovation, while supporting entrepreneurs and startups and opening wider spaces for cooperation between academia and industry.

Dr. Mohammed bin Hassan Aburasain, President of Jazan University, said the project aims to build specialized capabilities aligned with labor market needs by developing the skills of students and beneficiaries and linking educational outcomes to the jobs and specializations created by rapid technological change.

The center includes the inaraX AI-powered learning platform, which provides an applied learning experience that helps users develop their knowledge and skills in digital transformation and accelerates their move from theory to practical application.

Aburasain said the launch is part of the university's drive to empower local talent, encourage innovation and localize emerging technologies, helping to prepare a generation with the tools and capabilities to take part in building the digital economy and lead future transformations.

He also highlighted LEAP 2026 as one of the global platforms bringing together specialists, innovators and investors in the technology sector, noting that university participation in such events opens the door to new partnerships, exposure to the latest technology trends, and the conversion of research and academic knowledge into practical solutions and projects.
