Prince Sultan Cultural Center is the main venue for major events in the Jazan region. It sits on the waterfront of the northern corniche of Jazan city and was officially opened on 28 December 2018 under the patronage of the Governor of Jazan, as a home for exhibitions, conferences and official ceremonies.
The center comprises ceremony and conference halls, an exhibition center, an indoor theater seating around 1,800 and an open-air theater for around 3,000, with parking and support services suited to events drawing thousands of visitors.
What it hosts
- The Jazan Book Fair, organised by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission (first edition in February 2025).
- Official forums such as the Jazan 2030 "Empowerment and Localisation" forum and the Saudi and International Volunteer Day forum.
- Science fairs such as the regional round of the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity "Ibdaa".
- Seasonal public gatherings such as fan zones for Saudi national team matches.
