Marjan (Coral) Island is one of the most prominent tourist destinations on the Red Sea coast of the Jazan region, on the southern shore of Jazan city and connected to it. It covers around 63,000 square metres and is known for clean beaches, clear water and coral reefs that draw divers and water sports enthusiasts.
Boat trips depart from the island to nearby islands, and it has restaurants, cafes, seaside seating and children's areas. During Jazan Festival it hosts seasonal events such as "Fayyah" over some 10,000 square metres with shopping, art and photography corners.
