Al-Aydabi, 10 Sha'ban 1447 AH (29 January 2026)
Under the patronage of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan, Deputy Governor Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi today launched the Jazan Honey Exhibition 2026, held as part of Jazan Festival 2026 in the Cultural Centre square in Al-Aydabi Governorate.
The Deputy Governor toured the specialised exhibition, where 60 beekeepers from across the region's governorates are presenting around 10 tonnes of honey spanning more than 15 varieties of the high-quality honey for which Jazan is renowned. He reviewed the work of government bodies and specialised associations to serve beekeepers and develop the beekeeping and honey production sector.
He also viewed the participation of government agencies and specialised associations that support the honey ecosystem, promote the sustainability of this important agricultural product, raise production efficiency and improve marketing for beekeepers' products, strengthening the economic value of Jazan honey.
The ten-day exhibition offers programmes and activities for all segments of society, with 41 productive families supported by the Social Development Bank taking part, in support of local products, family enterprises and economic activity in the region.
