Al Aydabi, 16 Sha'ban 1447 AH (4 February 2026)

The Jazan Honey Exhibition, held as part of the Jazan 2026 festival at the Cultural Center square in Al Aydabi Governorate, has drawn more than 20,000 visitors over the past six days, a turnout reflecting the exhibition's growing standing as a prominent tourism and economic event in the region.

The sales outlets and exhibitors' corners saw growing demand from visitors from inside and outside the region for high-quality honey products and the offers available under the roof of the "honey tent", along with the accompanying cultural and entertainment events and the seminars and training courses for beekeepers.

Sulaiman Al Ghazwani, Executive Director of the exhibition and Vice Chairman of the Jazan Beekeepers Cooperative Association, said the exhibition has met its goals of marketing the honey for which the region is known and introducing the tourism potential of Al Aydabi Governorate and its natural wealth, valleys and varied vegetation, which make it a prominent destination for beekeepers.

He said the exhibition aims to highlight the quality of local honey and its derivatives, strengthen community confidence in them and encourage beekeepers to develop and increase production through new marketing opportunities, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals of supporting the sector and its sustainability.

Al Ghazwani noted that 60 beekeepers are taking part, offering more than 15 varieties of high-quality honey, and that the exhibition is distinguished by its family atmosphere and varied events for all ages.

He said the exhibition includes a children's theater, entertainment activities inspired by honey and bees and seating areas, along with prizes and gifts for visitors, offering a complete knowledge and entertainment experience that reflects the importance of beekeeping as a promising tourism and economic component in the region.
