Islamic Values Forum Opens in Riyadh with Three Training Workshops to Strengthen Islamic Values
Riyadh, 21 Sha'ban 1447 AH (9 February 2026)
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance today launched the first Islamic Values Forum at the InterContinental hotel in Riyadh under the theme "Firm Values for a Better Life", with three specialized training workshops attended by more than 150 participants from among teachers, preachers, callers, media professionals and influencers.
The workshops stressed the importance of linking knowledge and media content with Islamic and national values as an effective tool for turning values from theoretical concepts into practical behavior reflected in individual and institutional conduct, strengthening and entrenching the community's value-based identity.
The first workshop, "Digital Innovation in the Service of Values", focused on using digital technology and modern media platforms to strengthen Islamic values and their presence in the digital space, along with applied models of digital influence and the development of value-based discourse tools suited to today's audience.
The second workshop, "Developing Media Skills in Shaping Values", addressed the media practices that produce responsible content, reviewing the foundations of professional media work, building effective teams, managing media crises and adhering to professional ethics, and discussing the rapid challenges of the age of technology and artificial intelligence.
The workshop aimed to enable media professionals to craft an aware and impactful message that embodies the community's values, supports social cohesion and serves national interests in a professional, sustainable way.
The third workshop addressed the tools of value-based influence, focusing on building an impactful message, effective communication and the use of educational and media platforms to instill positive values, with applied models for strengthening moderate value-based discourse and its impact on society.
The forum is part of the ministry's efforts to strengthen the presence of Islamic values across every area of life and build community awareness that contributes to stability and cohesion, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
