The National Cybersecurity Authority presented, during the "Government Engagement" program at the World Defense Show 2026, the enablers it offers entrepreneurs and investors in cybersecurity and its efforts to support high-level integration among government bodies, strengthening cybersecurity at the national level and achieving economic and social development goals.

Eng. Hussam bin Abdullah Al Waqit, Deputy Governor for the Cybersecurity Development Sector, outlined the authority's strategic role in developing the cybersecurity sector, supporting local and international investment in the Kingdom's cybersecurity market and keeping pace with global trends in this vital sector, helping to build an integrated ecosystem that opens wide horizons for research and innovation in cybersecurity fields of national priority.

He said the authority is working to enable an attractive investment environment and strengthen partnerships with government and private bodies, supporting the sector's sustainability, raising cyber readiness and strengthening the Kingdom's regional and global competitiveness in the field.

The National Cybersecurity Authority is the Kingdom's competent body for cybersecurity and the national reference in its affairs. It aims to strengthen cybersecurity to protect the state's vital interests, infrastructure and national security, protect critical infrastructure, priority sectors and government services and activities, and stimulate the growth of the cybersecurity sector and encourage innovation and investment in it.
