Umm Al-Qura University has announced it is joining the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum 2026 as knowledge and innovation partner. The forum opens next Monday in Madinah, organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program.

Supporting Scientific Research and Innovation

The university's participation reflects its academic and research role in supporting the innovation ecosystem and developing services for Umrah performers and visitors, improving and elevating the pilgrim experience to the highest standards.

The university said its participation extends its efforts to harness research outcomes and academic expertise in support of national initiatives, especially those tied to serving pilgrims, by offering innovative solutions that develop services and ease the performance of rituals.

An International Platform for Developing the Umrah Ecosystem

The forum is an international platform bringing together leading decision-makers, experts and specialists in the Umrah and Ziyarah ecosystem to discuss the latest practices, exchange expertise and review development opportunities in this vital sector.

The forum also strengthens integration among the relevant bodies and widens partnerships between the public and private sectors, supporting the development of services and improving the experience of Umrah performers and visitors.

Supporting Saudi Vision 2030

The third edition of the forum aligns with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals of developing the Hajj and Umrah services ecosystem and strengthening innovation and digital transformation in the sector.

The forum also reflects the continued support of the Kingdom's leadership for serving pilgrims, raising the quality of services and strengthening the sector's readiness to receive growing numbers of Umrah performers and visitors.
