Madinah, 30 April 2026

The Islamic University of Madinah has concluded its forum for alumni from across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hosted over two days at the King Salman International Conference Center with a select group of graduates and a number of officials and academics, as part of the university's efforts to strengthen ties with its alumni and activate their role in serving society and spreading knowledge.

Sessions on the Role of Alumni in Spreading Knowledge

The closing day continued the specialized panel sessions. The third session examined how to strengthen alumni contributions to spreading knowledge, through papers on cooperation opportunities with universities and research centers and the role of graduates in presenting Saudi values in academic and scientific circles inside and outside the Kingdom.

Participants also reviewed the Kingdom's use of soft power to correct misconceptions about Islam and promote moderation and tolerance through scientific and cultural initiatives.

Digital Knowledge Among the Priorities Ahead

The program included a scientific seminar titled "Spreading Digital Knowledge: Challenges and Opportunities", which focused on developing digital knowledge content, strengthening its reliability and using modern technology platforms to deliver the scholarly message with greater impact and reach, while highlighting the Islamic University's efforts in support of this direction.

15 Papers on Alumni Contributions to Society

The forum concluded after three panel sessions, a scientific seminar and a public lecture, during which 15 papers were presented on the experiences of the university's graduates in spreading moderation, contributing to community development and advancing knowledge, along with a review of the university's journey and its efforts to prepare influential scholarly talent at home and abroad.
